Kim van Schaik-Gerritsen
After graduating Veterinary Medicine, I worked parttime in a small animal practice and parttime as a researcher at the Department of Virology of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Utrecht.
After five years I started an intership at the companion animals department of the same faculty, followed by a residency in Diagnostic Imaging. In 2013 I passed the exam of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging and worked as a diplomate at the faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Utrecht University until 2016. Since then I am working as an independent radiologist in 2 referral clinics in the Netherlands and work for VetCT, a teleradiology company.
In daily life I am happily married to Bram and proud mother of our son Kees and daughter Wiep. We’re living in the southern part of the Netherlands with our three cats Mook, Nelly and Coco and our dog Brownie.
